On Site Water Treatment Plant

Zacpac Queensland has an on site water treatment plant. As you can see in the video below, the jar on the right is water after treatment which we store and re use throughout the factory for cleaning of all the machines  Our waste water is all drained to a 92,000 litre underground tank. It is then processed through our in house water treatment plant. We separate the water that will be recycled for re use in the factory. The by product goes through the centrifuge and left over residue is then pumped to the storage dosing tanks. The waste is pumped through a vacuum filter which and the final separation produces a dry, usable slurry that is stored and sent to a fertiliser manufacturer.

Out of everything that comes on site at Zacpac QLD, less than 1% is waste that goes to landfill.

 

In order to maintain the ISO 9001 Management Systems certification an external third party audits Zacpac on a regular basis with a maximum of only six months between visits to check and verify our entitlement to keep the ISO 9001 certification.

This certification inspires the confidence of customers and staff, breaks down barriers between departments and reaches defined business objectives – all of these goals are achieved through the strict implementation of this Quality Management System.
